Comparison between silicide coating bottles and regular bottles
1.Applicable scope varies:
Medicinal
preparations that can be contained in regular bottles, all can be used in
silicified bottles; And not all drugs that can be contained in silicified
bottles may be contained in regular bottles. For example, drugs with high
alkalinity cannot be filled in regular bottles, while silicified bottles can be
filled; A drug formulation with strong adhesiveness can adhere more to the
inner wall of a regular bottle when filled, while the amount of drug adhering
to the inner wall of a silicone bottle is very small.
2.The adhesion amount of drugs varies:
According
to the regulations of the Chinese Pharmacopoeia (2005 edition), the drug
adhesion amount in ordinary bottles is 5% of the capacity, while in silicified
bottles, the drug adhesion amount is 0.2% of the capacity, resulting in minimal
drug loss.
3.The degree of water resistance, acid resistance, and alkali
resistance varies:
The
acid, water, and alkali resistance of ordinary bottles are worse than those of
silicified bottles. Ordinary bottles do not fully meet the relevant
requirements of international standards in these aspects (such as ISO8362), but
silicified bottles can all meet this requirement. This greatly improves the
safety, stability, and effectiveness of drugs in silicified bottles.
